A construction note that you'll want to remember... the Rio Grand gorge bridge will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians starting May 2nd, from 7pm to 7am, and through May 20th. Construction crews need to do phase three of the bridge construction projects. DOT officials believe it's necessary to close the bridge in order to protect workers', and the public's, safety. It's possible the bridge will have a one-lane closure at times during the day, with temporary traffic signals in place. Again, that's 7pm to 7am Starting May second.
